Even if deer cannot …
Even if deer cannot see ALL colors, the do see patterns and movement. This is the reason why you where some sort of camouflage whether it has orange or not. Te camouflage helps break up your profile so that the deer cannot see your movement as well. Since I bow hunt I have to be much closer than someone with a riffle so it is even more important me and for all bow hunters to where some sort of camouflage.

It says deer can basically see in color as much as humans do, but with red-green color blindness. While they do not see reds well at all, they might see blues better than we do. So hunters orange might be ok to an extent but deer can still SEE COLORS.

The thermal …
The thermal protection is vital, without a doubt. However, it’s pointless and DANGEROUS to be hunting deer without some very bright colors. DEER CAN’T SEE COLOR! They see motion very well but can’t tell the difference between your tree bark outfit and my bright orange jumpsuit.
Other hunters, especially the drunk ones, will often shoot at ANYTHING that is moving and isn’t bright orange.
Please write out your script and practice before you tape. The “um’s” and “uh’s” are distracting.
